Trip Participation and Media Policy
To keep every journey smooth, safe, and enjoyable, we’ve outlined a few important policies for travelling with Something More Travel. These guidelines help set clear expectations, support the wellbeing of the group, and ensure that our photography and media practices are transparent and respectful. 1. Group Travel Disclaimer
Group Travel Participation
By joining a Something More Travel group experience, travellers acknowledge that group trips involve shared schedules, shared activities, and interactions with other participants. While we curate thoughtful and supportive experiences, we are not responsible for the actions, behaviours, or decisions of other participants.
Travel Requirements & Fitness
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they meet all physical, medical, and documentation requirements for participation. Activities may involve walking, uneven terrain, stairs, or other physical exertion. If you have concerns, please consult with your doctor prior to travel.
Supplier Responsibility
All travel services—including accommodations, transportation, and tours—are provided by third-party suppliers booked through our licensed travel agency partner. Something More Travel does not control or manage these suppliers and is not liable for their actions, omissions, or service quality.
Changes & Adjustments
Occasionally, itineraries may shift due to weather, local conditions, supplier changes, or circumstances beyond our control. We aim to maintain the integrity of the experience and will adjust thoughtfully where needed.
2. Photography & Media Disclaimer
Photography During Trips
We love capturing the magic of our experiences. During group trips, our team may take photos or short video clips. These images may include participants in candid or group settings.
Use of Photos & Videos
By participating in a Something More Travel trip or event, travellers consent to the use of photographs and videos that may feature them, for purposes such as:
social media posts
website galleries
marketing materials
trip recaps & community content
We will never use images in a way that is inappropriate, misleading, or harmful.
If You Prefer Not to Be Photographed
We fully respect your comfort and privacy. If you do not want to appear in photos or videos:
please let your host know at the start of the trip or event
we will take reasonable steps to honour this request
We may still capture group scenes where individuals are not easily identifiable.
3. Social Media & Community Guidelines Disclaimer
(Optional but recommended if you create group chats, WhatsApp threads, or a Facebook group.)
Respectful Community Participation
Something More Travel may offer optional group chats or community spaces to help travellers connect before, during, or after trips. Participation is voluntary.
By joining, you agree to:
engage respectfully
maintain confidentiality where appropriate
avoid discriminatory, harmful, or inappropriate content
We reserve the right to remove individuals who violate community expectations.
4. Not a Travel Agency Disclaimer
(Since bookings occur elsewhere.)
Something More Travel is not a travel agency.
We curate, design, and host group travel experiences, but all bookings, payments, refunds, and formal travel contracts are managed by our licensed travel agency partner. Their terms and policies govern all official transactions.
5. Travel Insurance Recommendation Statement
(This is industry standard and protects you strongly.)
Travel Insurance Is Strongly Recommended
We highly encourage all travellers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for:
trip cancellation
medical emergencies
baggage issues
travel delays
Insurance is not included in your trip price unless stated otherwise.
